Mold Under Your Waco Home?

SERVPRO of Greater Waco was called out to address a high humidity issue in the crawlspace of a Waco home. The customer noticed a musty smell coming from their crawlspace and saw some “fuzzy stuff down there” when they investigated. SERVPRO of Greater Waco found a water leak in the crawlspace and then dried down the crawlspace. SERVPRO of Greater Waco then HEPA vacuumed all of the affected wood to remove and surface growth on the wood. Finally, SERVPRO of Greater Waco sprayed all the wood in the crawlspace with a mold encapsulant. Once that product dried, it forms a barrier on the wood that deters future mold growth from taking root. The customer was able to relax knowing that the issue was corrected properly. The last picture shows proof that the wood was dried to an acceptable level of below 16% moisture content.
